Campaign Status

There are three main campaign states:

• Scheduled
• Open
• Closed

The state is automatically determined based on the start and end date configured in the campaign wizard.

Scheduled

This state is active when the campaign's start date is in the future. For a user of the embed they will see a countdown dynamically counting down to the start date. You can also configure the text that appears on this stage from the campaign wizard.

Open

This state is active when the campaign's start date is in the past and the campaign's end date is in the future (or if no end date is supplied). Campaign embed is active and open to receive entries and will show the enter button and the introduction text.

Closed

This state is active when the campaign's end date is in the past. By default all new campaigns are open indefinitely so remember to set this from the campaign wizard if you want the embed to close automatically. For a user the embed closed state will appear with a message configurable from the campaign wizard.
